MUSC Cancer Research Center

This is Dr. Jacqueline Kraveka and she is in charge of the research lab at the Children's Hospital at MUSC which is the Medical University of South Carolina. I got to visit the lab because my classmate and friend Joey Izzo donated his birthday money to MUSC research so we got a special tour. I learned a lot about the lab and we got to see some actual cancer cells under a microscope and see the refrigeration for chemicals and cells. We got to go in the -2 degree refrigeration unit that they use. 


This is my teacher Mr. Zak telling us things about the lab and that they use the exact same process of science that we do but they just have bigger and more expensive toys.
