My name is Aidan Sabine and I am in the sixth grade at East Cooper Montessori School. For my Peace Project this year I am training for the Cooper River Bridge Run. This will be my fifth 10k!!!
I am doing this to raise money for babies in the NICU at MUSC Children's Hospital and also to make more people want to walk and run and be healthy. If you would like to support my walks and runs, you can help me by clicking the 'Donate' button below or send a check to:

All the money I raise goes to the babies in the hospital. When I was born, I was in the NICU, so I know what it is like to need help.Thank you very much for your help and please follow my walks and runs! This is my 6th year working on this project.

Happy days
This is my last post of this school year. Thank you for following my blog and thank you for your support. Follow me this summer while I continue my walks and runs and raise more money for MUSC Children's Hospital. See you soon!
MUSC Cancer Research Center
This is Dr. Jacqueline Kraveka and she is in charge of the research lab at the Children's Hospital at MUSC which is the Medical University of South Carolina. I got to visit the lab because my classmate and friend Joey Izzo donated his birthday money to MUSC research so we got a special tour. I learned a lot about the lab and we got to see some actual cancer cells under a microscope and see the refrigeration for chemicals and cells. We got to go in the -2 degree refrigeration unit that they use.
secret shark teeth beach
Sometimes we run on this beach and sometimes we just look for shark's teeth! You can kayak, swim, or boat, or canoe, or jet ski, or land on the beach by parachute but you can't get there by car!!!
The Lincoln photo bomb!
We took a trip to Washington DC because my Grandpa was buried at Arlington and that is a cemetery for soldiers who have been killed and or injured in a war or for a medal and the Army wants to honor them. My Grandpa's grave is facing the pentagon. I thought Arlington was amazing because everywhere you look there are white grave stones. We did a lot of walking and sightseeing also.
This is my cousin Lauren and my brother Cole at the Lincoln Memorial. You have to climb up a lot of steps to get there so we ran up them!

After dinner run
Sometimes before or after dinner I have a run to kind of get me a little bit sleepy before I go to bed! This was a 3 mile run.
