My name is Aidan Sabine and I am in the sixth grade at East Cooper Montessori School. For my Peace Project this year I am training for the Cooper River Bridge Run. This will be my fifth 10k!!!
I am doing this to raise money for babies in the NICU at MUSC Children's Hospital and also to make more people want to walk and run and be healthy. If you would like to support my walks and runs, you can help me by clicking the 'Donate' button below or send a check to:

All the money I raise goes to the babies in the hospital. When I was born, I was in the NICU, so I know what it is like to need help.Thank you very much for your help and please follow my walks and runs! This is my 6th year working on this project.

Bridge Run - the final 10k!!!
This is where I started my bridge run on Coleman Blvd. There were about 80 kids that were 7-9 years old. There were about 40,000 people!!! A 10k is 6.2 miles long.
This is me. We are just about at the top and this is about half way.
Just made it half way! Just 3.1 miles to go! I felt just a little worse than when I started.
This is me at mile 6. We ran and walked some. I was feeling pretty bad right about now. My favorite part of the race was at the start when we were on Coleman because I felt the best and it was fun to have people cheering me on.
Finally at the finish! Completed 6.2 miles!!!
I got over it!! There was lots of food and drink at the end - yum!
We took a bus back to Mt. Pleasant and stopped at a place to have a smoothie! It tasted really good.
