I am doing this to raise money for babies in the NICU at MUSC Children's Hospital and also to make more people want to walk and run and be healthy. If you would like to support my walks and runs, you can help me by clicking the 'Donate' button below or send a check to:

All the money I raise goes to the babies in the hospital. When I was born, I was in the NICU, so I know what it is like to need help.Thank you very much for your help and please follow my walks and runs! This is my 6th year working on this project.

running with Churchill

My dog is crazy. He goes in the water and comes out all fuzzy and runs with us. We usually run 3 miles on the beach. We run on Sullivan's Island.

sunny beach run

This was one of my favorite runs because it was really misty and their were weird bubbles on the beach.

Charleston Marathon 5k

I did the Charleston Marathon 5k with my family. It was really cold and windy. I couldn't breathe through my nose. Our time was 31 minutes for the 3 miles. They call it the Shrimp and Grits run.

The race started at 8am and it was in North Charleston. The sun was really bright when we passed a lake about a quarter of the way through the race. I had fun on this run but my Dad talked a lot.

donating my funds!

So far this school year I have collected $400 and I donated it to MUSC on Wednesday the 8th. The money will go to building a new children's hospital with an even bigger NICU which stands for Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. They asked me to speak at the next board meetings and tell my story. I am really nervous about this!! Here is a picture of me giving the check.

I also got to meet Mr. Julian Smith who is the founder of the Cooper River Bridge Run and he gave me a coaster and he let me go to the Race office and get a new bridge t-shirt that just came out. I can't wait until the bridge run!

Christmas break at Tablerock

We went to Tablerock, SC after Christmas and stayed in a cabin until after new years eve. It was really fun and we did a lot of hiking and riding our bikes.

This was how close our cabin was to the mountain. We had a fire in the fire pit on New Year's Eve and we had a fireplace inside too.

Pinnacle Mountain

This was called Pinnacle Mountain and it is next to Tablerock and it is actually a bit taller. This hike was hard because there were a lot of rocks and waterfalls you had to cross or climb. This was 7 miles total!!! It took us 5 hours because it takes a lot longer to climb steep mountains than just to walk a straight path. I felt very tired after this hike and I was glad to get back into the cabin. I want to do this again! I also want to hike to the top of Tablerock one day but it is really steep.

Greenville skate

One day we left our mountain cabin and went ice skating in Greenville. We also walked and rode our bikes all over town.
