4th of July Firecracker run

On the fourth of July, I did the Laurel Hall Firecracker run. It was four miles for he fourth of July. It was a really fun run through marshes and paths. This was the runs 2nd year.

I did a run on Folly beach with my family and it was really really windy on the pier. Then we went to a surfing day here and I saw a lot of famous surfers.

This summer my cousins came over from Portland, Oregon to spend two weeks with us. We did a lot of things together like bowling, water skiing, surfing, and making sushi with my Uncle. I took a break from running because we were so busy!

Art run

 My brother was taking an art camp this past summer and so I did some runs around the art museum that week. 

This is me at the end of my run.

Most of the run was in parts of the gate walk downtown.

Capers with Winston

We did a long walk on capers island with our dog. It was really cloudy but the dark clouds look like blue sky. Winston chased a few dogs but he always came back to us. This is called the boneyard.

The Cannons

We went for a big walk in the cannon park down town. It was really windy there so it was really fun! When we finished our walk we had a picnic and climbed on the cannons. It as really cool to see.

Summer walks/runs

Hello again! I'm in the fifth grade and I'm going to still be posting as much as last year! I did a lot of walking and running during the summer and  did a couple 5k runs to!   The summer was  really fun and I'm glad to be posting again!   ..

Here are some of the runs I did!

During the spring I went to Washington DC  to my Grandpa's funeral in Arlington Cemetery . It was really sad but interesting at the same time. I miss my Grandpa but it was cool to see all the museums and monuments. My Grandpa was buried in front of the Pentagon.   

 This is me in front of the White House. This did not look how I imagined it to look but it was awesome!

    

                    This is me with my brother and my cousin Lauren who went around the city with us. We went to the Lincoln memorial and walked up the steps about 20 times! In this picture it looks like Lincoln is photo bombing  us!

                               Its so nice in Washington and I hope I can go back soon!!!
