My name is Aidan Sabine and I am in the sixth grade at East Cooper Montessori School. For my Peace Project this year I am training for the Cooper River Bridge Run. This will be my fifth 10k!!!
I am doing this to raise money for babies in the NICU at MUSC Children's Hospital and also to make more people want to walk and run and be healthy. If you would like to support my walks and runs, you can help me by clicking the 'Donate' button below or send a check to:

All the money I raise goes to the babies in the hospital. When I was born, I was in the NICU, so I know what it is like to need help.Thank you very much for your help and please follow my walks and runs! This is my 6th year working on this project.

Dewees Island
Over spring break we went to Dewees Island and ran a little while we were there. We would run up to the dock and then circle back around. Some days it was cold and rainy.

I did it!!!
I finished the bridge run! My family ran it with me including my mom and dad and brother and we did it in 1:06! This year we ran the whole way! My story was included in the bridge run online magazine. Click here to read my story.
One of my favorite parts was getting to see these 5 minions running the whole way.
This is a picture of me running up the bridge. It was easier than I thought it was going to be to run the whole way. Thanks to everyone for supporting me! We are looking for a 5k to run soon so keep checking back!

Good luck!!
Good luck to everybody running the bridge run! Thank you for supporting my runs and my blog. Thank you to everyone who sent money to MUSC childrens hospital. I will post some pictures of the bridge run after this weekend.
last run
This is my last run before the bridge run. After the bridge run I will take a break and then start running again. We have friends and family running the bridge run too! I'm excited because me cousin is running it this year.
running and swinging
This is the end of some of my runs when we run in my neighborhood. I sometimes stop and swing on the rope swing. My new shoes are Asics gels and they are really comfortable and a little bit padded.
soggy pants
This was a fun run and I decided to run in the water for the first time this year. It was freezing - about 42 degrees.
the leprechaun run
The leprechaun run is a 5k which is only half the length of the bridge run. It raises money for Pattison's Academy. This is the run where you try and catch the leprechaun - that's the guy I'm standing next to. He is a really fast runner.
Washington Square
This is a fun downtown run through Washington Square. I have a new pair of running shoes I'm trying to wear in. This is a good training course.
palmetto park run
I love running in Palmetto park because there are a lot of different places to run to. Sometimes we go to nature island, or the docks, or the tower.
